Grab your easel and join us for the 2nd Annual Plein Air Paint-Out & Competition along the Nickel Plate Trail! Artists of all skill levels and mediums are welcome to spend the afternoon painting outdoors around Rochester, then bring your finished piece back for judging, a People’s Choice vote, and cash awards.
How it works:
- Meet at the Nickel Plate Trail (North) at 2:00 pm for check-in. Park in the lot by the Gazebo (Wabash Ave/Mitchell Drive).
- Bring your own equipment and easels — all mediums are allowed.
- Paint anywhere along the Rochester Nickel Plate Trail, Lakeside Park, Rochester Pathway, or Woodlawn Hospital Trails.
- Set up your finished work by 6:00 pm at the Rochester Pathway (behind Nubiano’s Pizza) for judging.
- Cash awards will be announced following judging!
