Equipment or Supplies

We are always in need of bench seats, heavy equipment, office supplies, etc. We can also use items to be auctioned off at one of our fundraisers. If you have something you would like to donate, please contact us.

Support Community Funds

You can donate to our endowment fund for trail maintenance. If you would to do this, send your donation to the Miami County Community Foundation, 13 E. Main St, Peru, IN 46970 and specify the Nickel Plate Trail Endowment Fund.

Planned Giving

Include the Nickel Plate Trail in your will or as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy.

Our small bike group, five women, rode the trail today from Peru to Macy and back. What a treasure! Wonderfully kept, even grade and not a pothole in sight. Great day to ride!

Thank you for doing such a great job with the trail. It has helped me get into shape again. I am 70 years young and enjoying the trail a couple of times a week. I would like to see more benches along the trail. It would help to have a place to stop and rest.
