Each participant that pre-registers is guaranteed a race shirt\, and we have several different medal categories that will be awarded! \nThere will also be an after-race picnic area. The event will be professionally timed by T & H Timing from Valporaiso\, Indiana. We will race the south portion of the Nickel Plate Trail. Each participant that pre-registers is guaranteed a race shirt\, and we have several different medal categories that will be awarded! \nThere will also be an after-race picnic area. Each runner will receive a free meal and drink. Food available will be pork BBQ\, chips\, veggies\, bananas\, chocolate milk\, Gatorade\, and water. The picnic will be located at Peru West City park and your family and loved ones are welcome to eat. Meals will be available for $6. Please dress accordingly. \n

Runners must be pre-registered using the Bolt for the Heart link below.)\nFees:   Pre-registration $20\nWebsite:  Bolt for the Heart\nLocation: Beef O’Brady’s\n911 West Main Street\nPeru\, IN 46970 \nBolt for the Heart is a non-profit organization serving central Indiana.  One of their biggest contributions is providing AED’s to law enforcement and other government entities.  Since 2010\, they have directly donated over $300\,000 in AED’s and equipment in the Central Indiana area.  100% of the proceeds from this year’s race will go towards purchasing AED’s for the Indiana State Police.  The ultimate goal is to have an AED in every Trooper’s commission across the state.
