Nickel Plate Trail Events

Spring Cleanup
Saturday, April 25, 2009

The Friends of the Nickel Plate Trail have scheduled have scheduled a spring cleanup of the trail this Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until Noon.  Volunteers will meet at the future trail head in Bunker Hill where SR218 crosses the trail.  We will clean 13 miles of paved trail and trail-side areas between Wallick Road in Peru and Cassville.  Waste Management has donated a dumpster for the cleanup and trash bags will be provided.  Old shoes or boots and protective clothing are highly recommended.  For more volunteer information call (765)457-2607 or (765)374-3320
