The Nickel Plate Trail is a non for profit 501c3 organization. Our funding is through grants and private donations by people like you. Please give what you can. All cash donations are tax deductible and will help insure that the trail continues to serve our communites for many generations to come.

We have created suggested levels of donations using the railroad theme.  They are: 

Porter -$20
                                                                                                                                                                                     Brakeman - $30
                                                                                                                                                                                     Switchman - $50
                                                                                                                                                                                     Engineer - $100
                                                                                                                                                                                     Conductor - $250
                                                                                                                                                                                     Trainmaster - $500

You can also donate to our endowment fund for trail maintenance.  If you would to do this, send your donation to the Miami County Community Foundation, 13 E. Main St, Peru, IN 46970 and specify the Nickel Plate Trail Endowment Fund.

However, all donations are very welcome and appreciated.

We are always in need of bench seats, heavy equipment, office supplies, etc. We can also use items to be auctioned off at one of our fundraisers. Contact a board member for more info.
